Devil’s Third is Coming to North America…in Q4!

Late Monday evening Nintendo of America confirmed to Destructoid that the long-anticipated, but seldom-mentioned title, Devil’s Third will be coming to North America in Q4. You may remember that Nintendo of America finally broke their silence last week, and also let us know they would be giving more information soon.

devils_third 2We have learned that the game is due out in “Quarter 4 of this year”, and will be published by NOA. We should however, remember that that could possibly point to an early 2016 release, as the fiscal year for Nintendo ends in March of next year. That, of course, has not been confirmed yet, though. We also learned that there will be an abridged multiplayer version for PC-only, that will be “free-to-start” and published by Valhalla Studios, themselves!

Aside from this information, we have little else to go on, at the moment. Tomonobu Itagaki did take to his Facebook page Monday evening letting his fans know that there is more information to come on Tuesday, as well, as he was unable to share more at the time.

What are your thoughts on the current information that we have so far? Do you expect additional information later Tuesday? Do you think the extended release may mean an enhancement to the North American Wii U version? I am looking forward to more info myself, and hopefully with the information that we have been getting lately on Devil’s Third, we can get a respite from the rumor mill! Stay tuned for any additional information that may come from Itagaki-san.

As always, gaming is meant to be fun, so keep gaming!!
