Nindies Wednesdays — A Look to What is Coming!

This week in our Nindies Wednesdays showcase we will spotlight a couple very promising nindies that fans should really be looking forward to getting. We are moving rapidly into the season of many big games releases, so there will be some wonderful games that could possibly go under-noticed.

The two titles below are scheduled to to be released in Q1 2016, so not too far off, and you may want to keep your eyes open regarding them.

Assault Android Cactus is one nindieAssault Android Cactus header that has been seen for a while now, and was actually expected on Wii U some time ago. Obviously, development has taken a little longer than initially anticipated. In fact, it is available on several PC platforms already. A recent developer update has indeed let us know that it will be coming early next year, so look for it.

CryamoreCryamore has been a little less visible up to now. It got its start as a Kickstarter campaign from developer, NostagiCO, that was successfully funded in March 2013. The game is described as “an Action-RPG focused on exploration, deep puzzles, and a mystical story.” Since its funding in 2013, the game has seen its share of hurdles and obstacles to overcome, but from a most recent developer update we found out that not only is the game finally expecting release in Q1 2016, but the devs have inked a new publishing partner.

As of this moment, we are thrilled to announce that NostalgiCO has partnered up with Atlus to ensure Cryamore will be released summer 2016, as previously stated a few months back.

These are just a couple of the fantastic titles that we have to look forward to coming to the Wii U soon. Remember game droughts do exist, but they are also perception, as there are always games to be played.

This week’s developer interview share comes again from PAX Prime 2015, with Oddworld Inhabitants, the developers of behind the highly anticipated New ‘n’ Tasty! Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee. This interview was, of course, conducted by Nintendo of America’s Damon Baker. Enjoy!

As always, gaming is meant to be fun, so keep gaming!!
