Wave 1 of the Nintendo Selects Lineup Has Been Announced

Nintendo, known for their elite-quality software, has begun to release this generation’s Nintendo Selects titles. Nintendo Selects is the company’s offerings of discounted, previously-released software for their current hardware systems. Beginning on March 11, these discounted titles will become available for purchase on Wii U, 3DS, and even Wii systems.

“Whether you just picked up a new Wii U or Nintendo 3DS system over the holiday season or want to expand your ever-growing game collection, Nintendo Selects are a great, affordable option,” said Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America’s Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing. “Not only are these games easier than ever to enjoy, but they also represent some of our highest-quality offerings in recent memory.”

The Nintendo Selects titles will sell at the suggested retail price of $19.99, and the list for this wave of games is very attractive for those who are new system owners, or maybe just have yet to pick up these titles.

I am actually pretty excited about these titles that are coming available shortly, because unfortunately I was not able to take advantage of some of these before, but now I will indeed be able to do so without much hassle. Seeing what this first wave has is simply phenomenal, knowing how critically acclaimed these games were when they were initially released. Now, many others will have the opportunity to enjoy them, as well. This is yet another fantastic step that will help fans to transition to the next phase.

Do you intend to pick any/all of these titles when they com available on March 11? Have you played any of them yet? If so, would you recommend others who have not yet played them, to take advantage of the discounted Nintendo Selects?

As always, gaming is meant to be fun, so keep gaming!!
