Nintendo is getting set to launch the long-anticipated StarFox Zero this week, and in conjunction with that, there will be a special presentation. StarFox Zero: The Battle Begins is an animated short that will be shown off on this coming Wednesday, April, 20 at 6pm ET/3pm PT.
Following the animated short, there will be a Treehouse Live event showing off StarFox Zero and StarFox Guard. It has been a while since we last saw the Treehouse gang, and it will be exciting to see them, and to see more footage of this new game.
Of course, there are a select few individuals and content providers who have seen the entirety of the game and will be sharing their reviews after the embargo, but those of us who are eagerly waiting, will surely be in for a massive treat.
The above teaser trailer for the animated short is once again showing the power of Nintendo’s IP, and their potential impact in different media. The sudden appearance of StarFox Zero: The Battle Begins simply shows how well Nintendo utilizes the art and element of surprise. What is more impressive is the company continues to succeed quite effectively when they are able to deliver their news content, in their own way, and in their own time.
Will you be tuning in live to watch the short, an sticking around to see the Treehouse event? What do you anticipate seeing during the presentations? Do you think this is the precursor for a possible animated spin-off of the StarFox franchise? Let me know your feedback.
