Nintendo’s Treehouse to Compete in Splatoon 2 Global Testfire

Recently we were informed of the upcoming Global Testfire event for Nintendo Switch owners to compete in the newest iteration of one of the company’s latest franchises, Splatoon 2. The Global Testfire is an event that allows players to compete in a demo version of the game, playing in Turf War mode which has the objective of players “inking” the most turf within an allotted time frame. For players who were unable to play the original Splatoon, they will get to enjoy the exhilarating fury that is the pace of this great franchise.

For Splatoon veterans, this event will give them an opportunity to test out some of the new weapon sets, gear and even a couple new stages. This Global Testfire will take place this weekend at the times below:

Event times (You can only play during these time periods)
• 3/24 (Fri) Noon – 12:59 p.m. PT
• 3/24 (Fri) 8:00 p.m. – 8:59 p.m. PT
• 3/25 (Sat) 4:00 a.m. – 4:59 a.m. PT
• 3/25 (Sat) Noon – 12:59 p.m. PT
• 3/25 (Sat) 8:00 p.m. – 8:59 p.m. PT
• 3/26 (Sun) 4:00 a.m. – 4:59 a.m. PT

Now, we also have the opportunity to watch a new Treehouse Live event that will be during the first hour of the Global Testfire.

The new stages that will be featured during this weekend’s event will be The Reef and Musselforge Fitness.

This Global Testfire event looks to be a great introduction, as new players will have the chance to experience the game play of Splatoon for what will likely be their first time, and for the experienced players, it will be a wonderful introduction to those stages and weapons.

What are you more excited to experience for the first time? Were you able to participate in any of the previous Global Testfire events for Splatoon? Will you be able to play in this event?

As always, gaming is meant to be fun, so keep gaming!!
